Department of Health officials say the death toll stands at 13-hundred-and-27. Over 23-hundred cases were reported today, bring the state total over 127-thousand cases. Currently 81-percent of all hospital beds statewide are being used and over 79-percent of ICU beds are occupied mostly with COVID patients.

The Sheriff’s Office has partnered with an organization called Project Lifesaver, which offers a device for locating those at risk for wandering off, such as those with Autism and Alzheimer’s. The person at risk wears a transmitter on their wrist or ankle. Law enforcement uses receivers to find the person if they go missing. The receivers can pick up sounds from up to three miles away.
