Weapons Charge Added to Murder Case

Prosecutors in Kenosha are adding weapons charges to the murder case against 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse.   The 17-year-old accused of a deadly shooting during protests in Wisconsin is officially being charged.  Brian Shook reports. Gov. Evers Visits Kenosha, Attorney for Blake Speaks Out

Five days after the officer-involved shooting of Jacob Blake, and after four nights of protests and violence, Governor Tony Evers visited Kenosha. The governor met with local leaders and held a news conference yesterday. He talked about the clean-up in downtown Kenosha and called the art painted on the boarded-up windows amazing. A number of Wisconsin’s top cops are asking the state’s governor and lieutenant governor to stop talking about Kenosha Police and the Jacob Blake shooting until all of the facts come out. BLM Leader Arrested in Madison

One of Madison’s most well-known Black Lives Matter leaders is in jail after police say he smashed the state’s Police Memorial with a sledge hammer. Officers arrested 25-year-old Jordan King for the damage on Tuesday. Madison Police say King also had a loaded handgun on him at the time, and did not have a permit. Police say video caught King smashing the memorial at the Wisconsin Capitol 23 times on Tuesday. Video also shows King smashing lights and windows at the statehouse.

Eau Claire’s city attorney yesterday said the county’s public health order does not stop high schools from offering so-called high risk sports like football, soccer, and volleyball. A suspect is being held on $10,000 cash bond after an incident involving a gun.
