Eau Claire police say last week someone stole a revolver and a wallet from a 90-year-old man before stealing their car and getting away. In the department’s notable case log, police say sometime between 10:00 last Thursday night and 5:15 Friday morning, someone entered the elderly man’s home and took the gun and the wallet from the nightstand before prying open the garage and taking the man’s vehicle without permission. The state’s Department of Health Services yesterday reported that just over two thousand people are hospitalized with the virus. Of them, 396 are in the ICU.
