The state treasurer is throwing her hat in the ring for the U.S. Senate seat held by Republican Ron Johnson. Johnson has been noncommittal about his decision whether to run next year for a third term. A judge in Chippewa Falls yesterday sentenced 31-year-old Andrew Premo to two-and-a-half years in prison. Premo pleaded guilty last week. He took police on one chase last June and another last November. The November chase had officers from Chippewa Falls, Lake Hallie, Altoona, Eau Claire and the Wisconsin State Patrol all in pursuit.
