The Eau Claire County Humane Association is looking for supplies to help them take care of new kittens on the way. They say they need a few things to help care for the kittens until they’re able to be adopted. Crews from Strum, Fall Creek, Augusta, Osseo, and Eau Claire all responded to the fire last night. No one is saying what burned, but they would only call it a structure fire. They also say Eyerly stole her family members’ social security numbers by promising them jobs in Chippewa Falls, but those jobs never existed.

The state’s Department of Corrections yesterday reported that nearly half of the state’s 19-thousand-plus inmates have gotten at least one dose of the coronavirus vaccine. About 95-hundred inmates are either fully or partially vaccinated. DOC says there have been over 10-thousand coronavirus positives in the state’s prisons, but only 11 of those cases are considered ‘active.’
