The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire is encouraging students to get vaccinated at it’s on-campus clinic this week. The school is administering the two-shot Pfizer vaccine at Zorn Arena. The mass vaccination clinic opened last week and community members were able to get their shots there, too. The health department says nearly 27-percent of Eau Claire County residents are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. CLICK FOR MORE INFO.

The Rusk County Sheriff’s Office says the shooting came after an ‘altercation’ in the small town of Sheldon on Friday night. One man died in the shooting, and a person of interest was arrested. Xcel Energy says anyone who owes should make a payment arrangement as soon as possible. Wisconsin’s moratorium on disconnections ends on Thursday. Xcel’s Chris Ouellette says that doesn’t mean the power will be shut off that day, it simply means the process to shut off the power will begin.

Governor Evers ordered all of the other slabs on the building to be removed before they fell off as well. The governor’s office ordered 50-thousand-dollars for emergency repair at the headquarters building.
