A new lawsuit says one of Wisconsin’s minority college grant programs discriminates. A Madison couple is suing over the state’s Minority Undergraduate Retention Grant program because they say their biracial son is locked-out. The couple says the program is only open to ‘some’ minorities in the state. The program is for black, Native American, Hispanic, and some Asian students. Students from other countries or nationalities are not allowed to apply.
