Wisconsin’s attorney general is signing-on to the national push to test child safety seats. A-G Josh Kaul yesterday said the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration should test child car seats against side crashes. Kaul says parents need to know just how safe their kids’ seats are in crashes. He says there’s been an unacceptable 20-year delay.

That’s because the FCC approved a three digit dialing code of 9-8-8 for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. Wisconsin residents in the 543 and 715 area codes already have the ten-digit requirement so the change will come for those customers with 262, 414, 608 and 920 area codes.
