An Illinois man is looking at a long list of charges for a shooting that left a Kenosha County police dog wounded. The D.A. in Kenosha filed formal charges yesterday against Allan Brown. The most serious charge is a weapons charge, though he’s also charged with mistreatment of a law enforcement animal. Democrats at the Capitol joined them in rejecting the maps drawn by Governor Evers’ People’s Map Commission. The state’s Hospital Association yesterday said just over one thousand people are in the hospital with the virus. Of them, just under 300 are in the ICU. Last week there were about 900 people in the hospital with the virus. The Hospital Association does not track how many people are hospitalized with the virus, as opposed to how many people are hospitalized because of it.

The kettles and their bell ringers are one of the signs of the Christmas season. Salvation Army Major Steve Woodard says bell ringers will be out each day until Christmas Eve. The donations during the Christmas season help pay for Salvation Army programs throughout the entire year.
