More people continue to get their coronavirus booster shot in Wisconsin. The state’s Department of Health Services said, as of Wednesday, 964 thousand people in the state have gotten a third jab. Overall, three-point-four million people have gotten at least one dose of the vaccine. DHS says they are averaging over 20-thousand booster shot doses per-day. CLICK HERE FOR MORE FROM WI DHS.

Organizer Lisa Schuetz hosted the Wobble at her tavern in Chippewa Falls. She says the run/walk raised three thousand dollars for the Autumn Community Sunshine Fund. That’s a charity set-up to remember Autumn Helgeson, one of the three Lake Hallie Girls Scouts who died back in 2019.

Read MoreThe sheriff in Racine County wants a county supervisor removed from office for posting a suspect’s bail. Sheriff Christopher Schmaling said Supervisor Nick Demske bailed-out a suspect arrested with a high-powered rifle. That suspect, Adrian Jefferson, is accused of stealing several guns from a Racine SWAT team member. The sheriff says Demske has put the community at risk. Demske says the sheriff’s anger is a political stunt.

The first calls came in at about 11 a.m., and crews from Tilden, Elk Mound, and Howard all responded. Three people were home at the time, but none of them were hurt. Wheaton Fire Chief Adam Blaskowski says the fire started in the garage. The home is a total loss.
