The Wisconsin Elections Commission has a new member. Today Wisconsin House Speaker Robin Vos appointed Republican attorney Don Millis of Sun Prairie to the commission. Millis previously served on the Wisconsin Tax Appeals Commission under Governor Tommy Thompson and on the Elections Commission for former House Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald.

The Commission sent a letter to local election clerks last week saying there is no legal requirement to respond to questions from outside groups about voters who may have moved, voters who claimed to be indefinitely confined, or voters whose addresses don’t line up.
