Police in La Crosse have a teenager in custody in a murder investigation involving another teen.  On Friday, 18-year old Sage Hicke turned himself in to police.  He is expected to be charged as early as Monday with first degree intentional homicide in the shooting death of 15-year old Storm Vondrashek in May.  La Crosse Police say their investigation is still open and ongoing with more details to be released about the case at a later date.

A school district drops its investigation into the alleged misuse of personal pronouns by some students.  On Friday the Kiel Area School District said it closed its investigation into three middle school students’ alleged refusal to use “they” when referring to fellow students who prefer that pronoun rather than he or she.  The district was looking into whether the students had violated Title IX sexual harassment policy.  The accused’s attorneys at Wisconsin Institute for Law & Liberty say the district made the

Calls of an erratic driver leads to an arrest. At approximately 8:26 p.m. Northwest Region WI State Patrol dispatch center received a call of a driving complaint. The Dane County Board of Supervisors approves an investigation involving the Henry Vilas Zoo.  The board voted unanimously Thursday night in favor of appointing a retired judge to look into several allegations made by former employees at the Zoo.  The accusers claim zoo management use racist language and neglect proper care for some of the animals.  Yesterday, Dane County Executive Joe Parisi had still not signed off on the proposal.  Parisi expressed skepticism of the Board’s decision which he says

Shirtless and shorts-less cyclists are getting ready for a naked ride in Madison.
