The shootings include a triple shooting at the El Rey Grocery store where two people including a security guard died Saturday.

Read MoreEau Claire’s election managers say nothing is changing after last week’s Supreme Court ruling on ballot dropboxes. City Clerk Carrie Riepl says they stopped using dropboxes earlier this year after a judge in Waukesha County declared them illegal. The state Supreme Court said the same thing on Friday. Riepl says voters can vote in-person or absentee through the mail. She says if you voted in the spring election, then things will be the same next month and again in November.

Kubb is a Viking game where players toss batons at blocks, Eau Claire has hosted the national championships since 2007. This year saw 128 teams and over 440 players. The tournament was so large, it will continue next weekend as well.

Managers at J&R Aquatic Animal Rescue in Fond du Lac say they spoke to the alligator’s owner last week, and the owners have decided to send the gator to an animal sanctuary. The Rescue’s John Moyles says the gator’s owner’s daughter left an outside cage open, and the gator wandered off. The small gator was captured while swimming in Long Lake.
Read MoreWisconsin’s coronavirus hospitalization numbers are inching up. The state’s Hospital Association on Friday said 427 people are in the hospital with the virus, including 64 in the ICU.
