WI TRIBES GO SOLAR

Two Wisconsin based Native American tribes are getting federal funding for green energy projects.

Yesterday, WISC reported the Bad River Band of Lake Superior Chippewa and the Forest County Potawatomi Community are benefiting from a total of two-point-five-million-dollars from the federal Office of Indian Energy Policy and Programs.  The money will be used to pay to set up solar energy generation for each tribe.
