WI UNEMPLOYMENT INCHES UP

The Wisconsin unemployment rate inches up slightly.

The State Department of Workforce Development says today the jobless rate last month was three-percent, which is up a tenth of a point from June.  April and May saw record lows of two-point-eight-percent.  Despite the slight increase, the state’s unemployment rate is below the national average of three-point-seven-percent.
