An Eau Claire County high schooler is doing some good with his prize pig. Augusta High School graduate Grant Goodell is donating the auction proceeds from his pig at the Eau Claire County Fair to a classmate battling brain cancer.
Goodell says he and Tenley Walker have been friends since the fifth grade, and he wanted to help anyway he can. So he’s donating the nearly nine-thousand-dollars he received for his pig at the county fair to Walker’s medical care. Walker says she doesn’t have the words to express how grateful she is.
