This year’s severe weather isn’t having a major impact on the apple crop in west-central Wisconsin.
One apple orchard owner in Eau Claire says the heat and storms have made apple growing more difficult and some apples may not but ready until later this season. However, he says most are still growing on time. The harvest is only expected to be delayed by about two weeks.
