The bridge to Lafayette in Chippewa County is once again open.
The county opened the bridge at Paint Creek on 195th Street this week. It had been closed since a partial collapse last year. Chippewa County only paid about 10-percent of the one-point-three-million-dollars it cost to build the new bridge, the rest of the money came from Madison or Washington D.C.
