It doesn’t matter which budget Wisconsin ends-up with, a new report says property taxes in the state won’t change.
The Legislative Fiscal Bureau yesterday reported that property taxes in the state will increase slightly under both spending plans.
The LFB says taxes on an average 167-thousand-dollar home would jump about 50-dollars a year under both budgets. The projections have homeowners paying almost three-thousand-dollars in property taxes on that hypothetical home.
