PROGRAM AIMS TO HELP ALL TRAVEL SMOOTHLY

Traveling can be challenging and a local program aims to help those with disabilities and their families navigate the airport environment.

The Arc of Eau Claire, Chady Travel, Chippewa Valley Regional Airport, and United Express operated by SkyWest Airlines are co-hosting a Wings for All® event on July 13, 2019. This is a program by The Arc of the United States that provides individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families with a real-life simulation of the
air travel experience in a safe, but realistic environment so that they can practice all the steps involved in air travel.
What: Wings for All®
Who: Individuals with autism or intellectual disabilities and their families
When: Saturday, July 13, 2019 at 11:30am and 12:30pm
Where: Chippewa Valley Regional Airport

Why: This program serves to alleviate some of the stress that families who have a child with autism or an intellectual/developmental disability have when travelling by air and also provides training to TSA, airport and airline staff on how to better serve individuals with I/DD and their families.

This event is FREE to all families, but space is limited so pre-registration is
