A Fitchburg student is competing in the Scripps National Spelling Bee Finals.
EAGLE School fifth-grader Maya Jadhav made it to the top 50 earlier this week after starting in a group of more than 550 spellers. The final round begins at nine o’clock this morning on ESPN and will continue with the end of the competition at 7:30 tonight.
