Wisconsin Republicans don’t want to spend any of the new money that the state could see for the next state budget.
The Legislative Fiscal Bureau yesterday said Wisconsin will see a one-time bump of about 750 million-dollars over the next three years. Governor Evers says he wants to spend that money to pay down some debt and grow a couple of state programs. Republicans want to put the money away for a rainy day fund, or use the cash to lower taxes.
