Authorities in Worden in Clark County say two children are being treated for injuries they suffered when they were struck by a pickup truck yesterday morning.
The Clark County Sheriff’s Office says a pickup headed east on CTH N approached two children, a boy aged seven and a ten-year-old girl, when the driver was blinded by sunshine. The truck ran the children into a ditch and the driver stopped immediately to help. The children were treated at the scene and taken to Marshfield Hospital The children are listed in serious condition. No tickets have been issued yet.
