Man Admits to Killing Neighbors Dog

Police say a Black River Falls man had admitted to fatally shooting his neighbor’s dog. 

The incident happened last week in the Town of Adams.  A woman who contacted police to report her dog was missing says she heard gunshots.  Police later found the dog’s remains.  According to authorities, 59-year-old Lawrence Frey has admitted to shooting the dog.  Frey faces charges of mistreatment of animals and possessing a firearm as a convicted felon.
