A woman accused of trying to mail drugs into the Chippewa County Jail is behind bars herself.
Prosecutors filed felony charges yesterday against 26-year-old Danielle Puig of Menomonie. Jailers in Chippewa Falls say they became suspicious of some of the mail she was sending. Sure enough, they say, she was hiding heroin under the stamps on some letters. Puig is due in court today.
