News | January 2, 2026 | 0 | by Morgan McCarthy
New Year Brings Free Fares

The new year brings free fares for school-age kids on Eau Claire Transit.

The city says that kids 18 and under — and all young adult high school students — will be able to ride the bus for free.  High school students will need to show their school ID in order to receive the free rides.  The offer went into effect on Thursday.
