Wisconsin has secured a 203-million-dollar federal grant to boost health care in rural communities.
The funding will support workforce development, technology upgrades, and coordinated care partnerships statewide. DHS will partner with local and Tribal governments, rural providers, and public and private organizations for implementation. The department is also recruiting staff to manage the project and oversee grants for sustainable rural health care systems.
