Xcel Energy’s annual Chili Cook-off to benefit the United Way of the Greater Chippewa Valley will be held Wednesday, Nov. 12, at the company’s headquarters. As part of the contest, several recipes will be put to the test by a panel of discerning celebrity judges including:

- Amanda Rome, EVP, Group President, Utilities & CCO-Xcel Energy
- Daniel Gomez, reporter, WEAU-TV 13

During the tasting event, employees are invited to vote for the winner of the prestigious “People’s Choice” award. The cost is $5 to sample the chili recipes and all proceeds go to benefit the United Way. For the past several years, Xcel Energy has been the top contributor to the United Way of the Greater Chippewa Valley campaign.
