Veterans Day is here.
Today is a federal holiday in the United States observed annually on November 11, for honoring military veterans of the United States Armed Forces.
On the national stage, President Trump is set to mark Veterans Day today with a visit to Arlington National Cemetery.

The president is expected to lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and deliver remarks as part of an official observance ceremony. This year’s Veterans Day proclamation from the White House notes that “The story of America is written with the courage, honor, and dedicated service of our veterans.” President Trump says he’s encouraging all Americans to “reflect on the courage and sacrifice of our veterans through public ceremonies and private thoughts and prayers of gratitude.”
