EC Children’s Museum Reaches Out to Families

The Children’s Museum of Eau Claire is reaching out to local families impacted by the ongoing shutdown of the federal government. 

The shutdown is impacting beneficiaries of federally-funded food programs that include SNAP and WIC.  The museum is now offering free admission to those families with the showing of their showing their SNAP or WIC benefits documentation.  A spokesperson for the museum says this is just one way to make sure that children continue to have access to resources like their facility even during tough times.
