Businesswoman Missy Hughes has launched her campaign for Wisconsin governor.
It comes weeks after she resigned from her position as Secretary and CEO of Economic Development in the Evers administration. In her announcement video posted on Monday, she boasts helping create over 95-hundred small businesses on city main streets across Wisconsin. She joins Lieutenant Governor Sara Rodriguez, state Senator Kelda Roys and state Representative Francesca Hong in the list of women vying for the governor’s seat next year.
