A Washington County Sheriff representative says Adam Zirbel with the Department of Natural Resources has died after being struck by lightning.
Zirbel was found Monday in the New Fane Trail area. Officials say Zirbel dedicated thirteen years with DNR and is credited with reforesting Kettle Moraine with millions of trees.
