Several veterans organizations in Wisconsin were awarded with grants from the Department of Veterans Affairs.
The agency announced on Friday that it was awarding approximately nine-point-three million dollars to four groups, including the Center for Veterans Issues and Veterans Path to Hope. The Department of Veterans Affairs is awarding about 818-million dollars to organizations nationwide, with hopes of combating homelessness among veterans and providing case management services.
