Authorities in La Crosse are filing charges against a man accused of injuring four police officers and a nurse.
Police responded Wednesday to a situation in which 24-year-old Devon Knapp reportedly had violated a no-contact order. When officers made contact with Knapp, reports say he bit two of them and later — at a local hospital — he injured two other officers and scratched a nurse. Charges against Knapp include battery to law enforcement and disorderly conduct.
