Dunn Co. Reports First Human Case of West Nile

Dunn County is reporting its first human case of West Nile Virus.

The County Health Department says the virus was found when a blood donor tested positive.  Most people who contract West Nile Virus don’t have any symptoms, but less than one-percent of people develop severe illness. Human cases have also been detected in Barron, Rusk, and St. Croix counties this year.  More information is available at the Wisconsin DHS website, WITH AN EASY CLICK HERE.
