Five former University of Wisconsin women’s basketball players are suing ex-coach Marisa Moseley.
They also name the university and a former athletic administrator, accusing them of enabling psychological abuse. According to the suit, the players say Moseley manipulated mental health care, demanded private disclosures, and used threats to control them. They also accuse the university of ignoring complaints and failing to act. The lawsuit seeks both compensatory and punitive damages. Moseley resigned in early 2025 after four losing seasons.
