Dane County officials say the death of a man found in a manure pit appears to be accidental.
Deputies were called to the 2100 block of state trunk Highway 19 over reports of a suspicious circumstance. There they found a 62-year-old man’s remains in a manure pit. The agency says the man was not associated with the farm nor does he have a permanent address. The circumstances are still being investigated.
