On August 10, 2025, at approximately 3:13 pm, the Wisconsin State Patrol and Polk County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two-vehicle crash involving a truck pulling a trailer and a motorcycle on County Highway I near the intersection of 90th Street.
Upon arrival it was discovered that the motorcycle operator, 70 year old Rodney Bodell from Rush City, MN was deceased. The initial investigation indicates the motorcycle had turned south onto CTH I from 90th Street while the truck, driven by 38 year old Joseph Trentor of Webster WI, was northbound negotiating a curve when the trailer that was being pulled turned over crossing into the southbound lane striking the motorcycle operator.
The crash remains under investigation by the Wisconsin State Patrol.
