The mother of the Madison school shooter has died.
Janesville Police were dispatched to a residence on August 1st for a death investigation. The victim was then identified as Melissa Rupnow. Officials believe she may have committed suicide. Rupnow’s ex-husband Jeffrey is currently charged with allowing their daughter access to the weapons used in the shooting. Natalie Rupnow opened fire at Abundant Life Christian School last year, killing two and injuring six before committing suicide at the scene.
