The Polk County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that one person died in a motorcycle accident.
The incident took place on Highway 65 yesterday morning. Police were called out to the scene for a motorcycle accident and when they arrived they found the man off the bike. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities believe that speed was a major factor to the accident.
