Court Reviews Release Plan for Slender Man Stabber

A court is reviewing a conditional release plan for one of the two people convicted in the Slender Man stabbings.  Morgan Geyser and Anissa Weier were twelve years old when they lured Payton Leutner to a Waukesha park in 2014.

Once there, they stabbed Leutner almost 20 times, attempting to kill her to please fictional online character Slender Man.  Geyser, who now identifies as a transgender man, pleaded guilty to attempted first-degree murder, and was sent to a psychiatric hospital due to autism and schizophrenia diagnoses.  Geyser was granted release earlier this year on the condition that he live with his father and be GPS monitored.  The plan was reviewed today during a court appearance.
