Ground Breaks Soon on New Hospital

The land purchase for a new western Wisconsin hospital is finalized.

Aspirus Health Care bought the 22-acre plot of land yesterday and says ground will break on the new facility in the spring. It’ll be built on Chippewa Crossing Boulevard near the Seymour Cray Sr. intersection. The hospital will offer primary and inpatient care, along with emergency and basic lab services. Aprirus says it’s been dedicated to bringing health care to the Chippewa Valley since hospital and clinic closures last year.
