New Reps Meet with Public, Talk Goals

The newly elected state assembly representative Christian Phelps is making his properties clear.

Phelps was sworn into his first term earlier this month and met with supporters in Eau Claire on Sunday.  He says public education is his background and he always believes the most responsible use of state resources and community organizing is putting the next generation first.  Phelps has co-authored a bill that would provide free breakfast and lunch for public school students.  He’ll be serving on the education committee and the committee on public benefit reform.  Phelps was elected to represent the 93rd Assembly District, which includes parts of Eau Claire, Dunn, and Trempealeau counties.
