Funding Set for WI Schools

Wisconsin schools are getting 70-million-dollars to expand libraries and technology.

The Board of Commissioners of Public Lands says the funding will be used to buy new books and other educational materials. The money comes from the Common School Fund, which supplies the sole funding for more than 90-percent of public school libraries statewide. The funding will be announced this afternoon at the Brown Deer High School and Middle School library.
