A Marshfield man is under arrest after admitting abandoning eight newborn puppies in a trash can.
Marshfield police say Robert Wild could face mistreatment of animals and abandonment charges. Cops found the eight puppies in a garbage bag in the trash can in the 800 block of East 4th Street last month.
