Wisconsin’s state superintendent of schools is running again. Superintendent Jill Underly yesterday announced her re-election bid ahead of next spring’s election.
Underly has overseen Wisconsin public schools through COVID, and through a round of tests that show kids in the state are doing worse than before the outbreak. She says she wants her re-election campaign to be about making sure every child feels connected with their school. There’s no word if she will see a Republican challenger next spring.
