Senator Bernie Sanders is encouraging Wisconsinites to get out to the polls this November.
Sanders was in Wisconsin and our area brining his messge to around 650 people stood in the rain in Stevens Point Friday to listen to the Vermont independent decry what he called the nation’s broken and corrupt campaign finance system and the influence of big money interests. He said that confidence in government is declining at all levels and that working people are feeling the pain.
Sanders spoke about the rising costs of food, health care and housing. He said they’re looking at the government but the government isn’t helping.
