TRIO OF KIDS RUN OUT OF “LUCK” IN ATTEMPTED ROBBERY

Three kids are in legal trouble after police say they tried to rob a gas station at knife point.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office says a 16-year-old, 13-year-old, and 12-year-old arrived at a Mini Mart in Luck on snowmobiles Sunday afternoon.  They then attempted to rob the clerk but someone in the store stopped the robbery until police could arrive.

The 16-year-old was put into a detention center and the other two were released to their parents.
