The task force to deal with the hospital closures in Eau Claire and Chippewa Falls is pausing its work.
The task force, led by the Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce, says it’s done all the work it can do. Task force member Dr. Bill Rupp says they’ve brought-in a number of healthcare providers who’ve picked-up the slack from the now-closed Sacred Heart hospital in Eau Claire and the now-closed St. Joe’s hospital in Chippewa Falls.
