UW-Madison leaders say they’re willing to meet again with protests, after protesters walked out of yesterday’s meeting.
Student protesters reportedly ended yesterday’s meeting with the chancellor and others in a spat over the UW’s investment policy, and some of the protesters’ other demands. Protesters have been camped-out on campus since last Monday, and the chancellor continues to say they are there illegally. No one is saying when police may once again clear the UW’s Library Mall, though there was a rumor police were going to move-in yesterday afternoon.
